"We arrived on Wednesday 6th of September. We collected the rental car and headed towards our destination. We had already been advised by the owner that we would be met at the start of the village by her representative Michalis. The owner had already given coordinates and Michalis contact number. When we arrived at the village we rang him and he duly met us. Michalis guided us up to the property and shown us around. The villa is absolutely gorgeous. "Our stay in Spilia was perfect start to finish - Manos was brilliant and on hand for anything we needed throughout (& kept us very well fed!) His booklet full of recommendations was really useful as well, we did/saw/ate lots that we wouldn’t have known about without it. "The place is located in a beautiful hilltop with a great view. Inside it is equipped with a decent kitchen. The host is lovely. However it has no internet so you have to rely on a local phone network which is not great because you are in the mountains. Just something to know beforehand. I had to work and had to go to Kalyves when I had meetings. But other than that we enjoyed the great views and the small villages in the area."

Nach kurzer Fahrzeit ist man an den Schnorchelstränden bei Paleochora oder Sugio. Aber auch Wanderungen (Höhle der 99 Väter!) sind in der Nähe möglich. Das Haus selber ist umwerfend. "Good location for various nice beaches, tavernas, etc. Nice property/beach house. Great hosts and hospitality. Was nice for family. Super close to one beach, while many others within short drive. Town nearby for shopping."

"Das Doppelhaus liegt nur 50 Schritte von Meer entfernt und liegt absolut ruhig. Die kleine Bucht ist nur wenig belebt und meist ist man dort ganz allein. Mit den Nachbarn teilt man sich eine Terrasse, die durch einen Sichtschutz getrennt ist. Es war ein toller Urlaub und wir kommen gerne wieder"

"Great location. House is 3 bedrooms with 2 baths. Very quiet neighborhood up the hill yet close to Chania old town/Venetian harbor by car. Also close to airport. House is very clean. The view of the sea is amazing with 3 balconies (2 facing the sea). You can enjoy your cup of coffee in the morning without any disturbances. Kitchen is fully equipped, but we only used the kettle and nespresso machine. Host, very responsive and replies within mins to any questions you might have. Great stay"

Ausstattung ist ok mit kleinen Schwächen (die Matratze ist wackelig, so dass man geschüttelt wird, wenn der Partner sich umdreht, der Toaster ist etwas fummelig und sollte nicht unbeobachtet betrieben werden).
