"Absolutely wonderful!! The room was comfortable, neat and clean.with beautiful views over the sea. Staff were friendly and very helpful. An ideal setting - only 10min from the airport, a lovely beach just a 15min stroll away, I also enjoyed a trip into Argoustoli, the capital, to see some turtles. A great holiday. "

"Spectacular. Went here to get ready for my wedding and spend the night with my new husband. I forgot my bag in the room with all my money and when I went back to retrieve it, the front desk gentleman was waiting for me and ready to call me. Can’t get that kind of service in the states! "Avithos resort looks as good as the photos. Chose this resort because of the kitchenette so that I could make food in the apartment and it didn’t disappoint. The kitchen has everything you need, except they don’t provide washing up liquid and sponge. It was lovely sitting out on the balcony for dinner or a drink. "We spent 2 weeks in August at Maria’s. Lovely apartments with beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous view. Apartments were basic but had everything we needed. There is a hairdryer (which isn’t mentioned in the description). Check in was easy, we had a late arrival and were advised in advance of our apartment number beforehand and access instructions. Housekeeping was daily and maids were very friendly. As mentioned previously, it is a steep hill up to the apartments but we found it walkable....

"An absolutely beautiful, very new and modern apartment. Perfectly clean and well furnished. Definitely recommend. The main problem was the distance to the centre. It was a fast, 20 minute walk. For a slow walker it would take longer. Could walk down but get a taxi back up. "

"As the booking was made we had a very good instinct that this was the right property. From viewing the pictures we were not expecting the Kitchenette, we were able to eat cooked breakfasts and dinners on the balconies and made our trips easier and lighter to focus on activities. "The apartments are lovely however the location as stated on the listing is not where the property is. The location is shown as within a block of the waterfront but the property is about 4 block away (the end of the town). Although it is only a short walk to the waterfront, the location as shown is misleading. Also, the fridge in our apartment (we stayed in Joy) would freeze everything, even though the temperature was on the warmest setting. We were asked to turn the fridge off and on to reset it...

"We just got home from Kefalonia and a great week staying at Oskars! Our studio apartment was lovely and comfortable with a great view. The family were very friendly and welcoming, and the three brothers Makis, Costas and Yiannis went out of their way to make our stay comfortable - thanks guys!
