"The property is beautiful. Private yard and pool. Super well-maintained. Amazing view from living area upstairs. Think ahead for food; we arrived on a Sunday in mid-May and all the markets and most of the restaurants were closed. No dining facilities on site and don’t plan on “walking into town”, as it’s about 1.5 km away and it’s a steep uphill on the way back. Communication had challenges. On the eve of my departure for Greece, I received an email with check-in instructions all in Greek requiring you to send a pre-arrival form, all in Greek, when options to do this all by phone might be limited. Due to network problem in the area, could not reach property by phone. Finally, we established contact on FB messenger and the property manager was able to call me back. When she did, she was wonderfully helpful and polite. Overall pleased, property is lovely once you get there, but do realize it’s in the middle of nowhere with a steep walk to and from the beach and town, and communications can be challenging. "

"I booked this four-star hotel for a week to celebrate my Wedding Anniversary. I am sorry to say it is not four-star and everything is old and it needs a total refurbishment. All the public areas: breakfast room- lobbies- corridors were not air conditioned because the nasty Manager would not switch it on in 40•C!! We and all the other guests could not eat the very poor breakfast in the hear. Everyone was sweating in the very sunny and unbearable room. Manager yelled at me because I complained. Everyone was afraid of the arrogant manager who only yelled and banged doors instead of switching in the aircon! I was made to pay in full before arrival-€1,400 - so I could not leave. Many tourists came out with hives over their body due to the terrible heat in the Hotel. Pool is dirty and ladder and tiles broken. Hardly any sun beds or umbrellas. Bar man won’t serve drinks and was very rude. Only four persons to staff a large four star hotel. We were totally disillusioned . I think the surly manager writes all the positive reviews! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! "

"Myself, my wife and daughter stayed at Laluna at the end of Aug 24 and had a great time, the room was clean and had a view over the bay which was a pleasure to wake up to each morning, the room was adequate as was the bathroom and the rooms were leaned regularly with sheets and towels being changed every couple of days. The staff were beyong helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them, they has a great rapore with all of the guests, we ate at the Hotel on a couple of occasions and the food was lovely. The included breakfast was fantastice with lots of choice and the staff would go through the choices with everyone on their first visit to the dinning room - easy to park and find near bus stop 21. The local beach had a Life Guard and the beach was always very clean and was visiteddaily by three Swans from the local lake. Plenty of watersports and beds, umbrellas etc. All in all it was a great stay and we would recommend the Hotel to both Families and couples young or old."

"This property is beyond beautiful and far better in person than the photos which is hard to believe! Designed at a Small Luxury Hotel of the World, it certainly is deserving of such status. Stefano and the team are wonderful hosts and ensure every ask is accommodated. This is a resort to kick back and relax at. If you're looking for a location with a number of activities to do around the area, this is likely not your place. If you're looking for peace, tranquility and picture perfect views, you couldn't pick a better place. It may have just been the season or a one off but our check-out and final billing was quite unpleasant. We have still not received the final accounting bill via email despite the email address being corrected and provided again at checkout. For some reason the preauth on my Amex was not closed as a final charge requiring a second credit card and we then found out after our departure that there was still an outstanding balance. Inconvenient and options on how to clear it up were limited. Sending credit card details via chats and/or emails is not practical, safe or acceptable. I do hope they can develop some better processes in future to support the confidence and safety of their patrons' financial information. "

"After a challenging 12 months we needed time to rest and recover. Villa Fairytale delivered in every respect. The property is designed to make the most of its location overlooking the Gulf of Evia. The open plan living area looks out over the mountains and sea as does the pool and terrace. We spent hours getting lost in those views! The villa has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, quiet aircon units and mosquito screens on the French windows which meant we could enjoy the breezes without needing to use the air conditioning. It was an easy drive from Athens airport though be prepared for hairpin bends as you approach Nerotrivia and the villa. You soon get used to them and the local roads are very quiet. Boukoutis taverna was great. We arrived in the early hours and Antonis was brilliant, arranging for the keys to be left for us. Communication throughout our stay was brilliant and it was wonderful to meet Mr Argirios with his lovely smile and concern that we had a good stay at the villa. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you both for a wonderful holiday, you have a very special villa."
