"Our room (41 with kitchen area) grew on me over our four nights here. Initial thoughts were that it was very dark. But learn to throw open the shutters on the three windows to let as much light in as possible. Small hotel in an old building (c 15 rooms on three floors) on main street- our room was quiet as it was at the back (looking over an archaeological area). "Fantastic location, older hotel but very charming. They need to cleanup the bottom floor/abandoned rooms on the ocean, but it really doesn’t effect the overall experience unless you venture down there. Beautiful views from rooms and hotel grounds."

Enjoyed the stay

"I enjoyed the stay, the people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. I think the 10 euros for the ride from the port to the hotel was a bit much since it’s a 5 minute drive but it’s needed if you have a big suitcase. Breakfast was very good and the view was great."

"Bright, and clean with large rooms. Solid breakfast and early, a decent dinner menu but the service was excellent. Pool is not heated, probably best for summer as we found it cold. Just up the hill from Lipari which was nice for ocean views while dining, and quietness. "
