"Great central location. Fantastic air con. They were the 2 good things. Our room had zero privacy. Shower flooded bathroom, they fixed it quickly but then didn’t replace the towels we’d used to mop up. All the hotels we’ve stayed in Sicily we’ve adored, this one was a bit disappointing. Pool is much smaller than in photos and no Sun loungers or anything like that to relax, just tables and chairs by pool"

"The town is tiny. Not much for competition which means nobody needs to excel or go out of their way for you. We experienced this at times but not at La Plaza. Very helpful and great advice. Also.... Salvatore and his son Marco can rent you boats. We did it and enjoyed our freedom swimming where we pleased!"

"Cave Bianche is situated in an old quarry, its attractive buildings made from the tufa stone, which was quarried here. The grounds are attractively landscaped, there is a beautiful pool - and bar - and the staff are solicitous and friendly. Colazione is the standard Italian fare, included in the room price. The two dinners I ate there were excellent - the hotel kitchen knows what is doing and delivers wonderful Sicilian fish and seafood dishes. There is a shuttle service to town and also for...

"The hotel is far from the port but the hotel offer a free shuttle pick up and drop off. The location is secluded but beautiful. Hard to get around without a bike, scooter or car. They have a sister hotel with a nice pool which you can visit. The room was small the single bed was tiny. Not extremely comfortable but fine for one night. The breakfast wasn’t labelled so I struggled as a vegetarian. "
