"A lady called Anna met us at the property. Very rude. We had asked owner to check in early due to flight but message hadn’t been passed on to her. She kept stomping past us as we sat outside waiting for her to put bedding in etc. When we asked if she could speak English to us she shouted NO. So that was our welcome. Only one set of bedding for each bed. Good job we only used 2 beds. No sun at all in house , very cold as it was September to mid November so heating had to go on even though warm...

"The villa has a great setting but a car is essential as nothing is walking distance. The villa is good but a little tired, needs some freshness to the décor, A/C essential in the main living room (cooking was a very hot and not too pleasant an experience and all the appliances need to be upgraded - washing machine, iron and fridge in particular. The caretaker/owner was very efficient and responded to all requirements promptly. All together, the family had a lovely experience."

"A really great experience as a family in this villa. Had everything we need. Very comfortable beds in the master bedroom. Spotlessly clean. Check in process was easy enough (even though there was a bit of a language barrier). The pool was excellent and we spent hours there. Altea is only a 20 minute walk away where you have every convenience plus there are local shops too. Only 5 minute walk to the tram station which will take you up and down the coast. We did have a car which we were grateful...

"From the moment we met Susan and Nick we knew we were in for a treat ! Their hospitality was beyond words. So proud of the villa they had prepared for us . We only stayed 3 nights but they treated us to a gorgeous filled hamper with fresh fruit meat cheese snacks milk and a bottle of wine etc. a true suprise. "Communication with the host, Juan, was excellent. We had baggage issues, which meant we were very late getting to Javea...Juan met us and showed us around the property, even at the very late hour! The villa is huge and the outside space and pool were great. It's a great location, 20 min comfortable walk to the nearest supermarket. 40 minute walk to Arenal beach, down the back lanes, which were very quiet...perfect for a baby to nap, en route!
