They also sell candy and snacks at the front desk which is great because I don't like vending machines. Also there are several doors around the perimeter so you can get in close to your room"

"We had a wonderful week long stay at the Boathouse on Evans Lake. We had 18 people from ages 12 to 82. The owner, Bill, is great! He was very friendly and helpful. He had called me a couple days before our stay to tell me that we wouldn’t be able to bring our boats because there was an issue with the boat launch. Then he kindly offered to let us use both of his boats free of charge. We had such a great time! He had kayaks, a lily pad in the water for the kids to play on, a swim platform, a giant Connect Four game, a couple of stand-up video games and a ping-pong table - plenty for everyone to do. We also had a campfire every night. Five stars! Highly recommend!!"
