Owner tried to charge for bogus cleaning
The place is basic and simple, as expected. The carpet was grey with dirt in areas and needed a clean, however the owner is now trying to charge me $165 for cleaning the carpet due to dog smell. This is after we paid him $60 extra in cash to be nice as we had 3 dogs. This was above what we already paid just as a nice gesture. The owner, David, still tried to charge us for cleaning even though he advertised it as pet friendly and we ticked “pets” as coming. Very opportunistic and disappointing.

A very quiet and comfortable studio
We loved staying at this studio. It was well appointed , quiet and only a few minutes drive into the lovely main street of Gawler. We would love to stay again if the opportunity arises.

David the owner and wife are fantastic people who made us feel really welcome the cottage is in a fantastic location it really nice place to stay you feel relaxed and very comfortable straight away a really comfortable place to stay couldn't recommend it highly enough .
