"Absolutely brilliant presentation, privacy & comfort. Extremely well appointed and comfortable. Very welcoming with table beautifully set including welcoming complementary bottle of wine, great coffee machine, and full continental breakfast plus bacon, eggs, milk and bread supplied. Home away from home. Modern, compact with super outdoor private dinning area surrounded by tropical garden. 5 mins walk to beach and gorgeous sunsets."

"The hosts, Ciaran and Jenny made you feel welcome from the time you arrived. Breakfast included was amazing (continental and cooked) which set you up for the day. Vineyards are close by and would definitely recommend if you’re visiting McLaren Vale."

"The property was absolutely beautiful, stunning views both sunset and sunrise we all enjoyed our weekend, the only thing was the cottage was cold unable to use heating system the girls thought was unfair as night was very cold but we stoked up the fire which was good but the heat didn't make to the rooms and we didn't have enough for wood left there when we noticed at midnight and thought to late to ring but we found some in the end so that would be the only negative the rest was so positive we...

"We stayed at the Mayfair for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay! The staff were friendly and polite and the room was comfortable. Having drinks at the rooftop bar was the perfect way to enjoy the evening. Not to mention, the location was fantastic and conveniently located across from Rundle St Mall. I would have given 5 stars for everything if not for the slightly aged room. For example, all USB charging sockets in the room were broken. And teh layout was slightly odd, e.g. power outlets were in far corners and the room phone was tucked away in a corner almost behind the cupboard. I suppose that’s also because its a heritage building converted into a hotel. Also, another little inconvenience is that there isn’t a proper driveway/drop-off point at the hotel and you need to get off/on at the loading zone along the street, but when the loading zone is full (which was often), it’s really difficult to load/unload your luggage."
