"We'd stay here again, any time. Staff was wonderful, the area is a great way to see all of Middlebury on foot, and the room was exceptionally clean (and had great air conditioning)."

"We stayed at Marty's wonderful property on Lake Champlain for a few days during our 25-year Middlebury College reunion. It was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. The house is very comfortable and it's easy to feel at home here. Most mornings we headed outside to swim from our own dock, greeting the morning along with the birds and squirrels. The decks have gorgeous views, and are furnished to make it comfortable to spend hours there: chairs, tables, a large awning, etc. We didn't use the kayaks, but it was clear that it would've been very easy to launch them from the dock. Marty is the perfect host: we had great communication whenever we reached out, and Marty made sure we had all the information we needed, but we were left alone to just enjoy the house and relax. We would return to Marty's property in a heartbeat... in fact, as we friends scattered to our various corners of the USA following our shared vacation, we've joked about running back up to Vermont as soon as we can. We all miss being there already! Thanks, Marty, for a truly wonderful stay. Hopefully we'll be back again before long!"

"This is a classic Vermont Inn. Easy drive to Middlebury. Everything was just lovely. Nice firm bed. Really spacious with full refrigerator. "

"The inn looks great. There are plenty of public spaces to relax. The rooms are spacious, and very comfortable. The inn is within a block or two of several restaurants and shops, and it’s very quiet in and around the property. It’s an old building, so there are some outdated things, but it was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful!"
