"Firstly it’s worth noting how good the reception staff are. They spoke very good English and were keen to be helpful. The hotel is in a wonderful location, just minutes walk away from the town square, and yet nice and quiet. We had a front facing room on the third floor. The corridor was a little smelly but the room was fine. In fact, the room was very comfortable with a large bed, soft bedding, large windows with shutters, and a well appointed bathroom. The boutique style meant that it felt a little outdated. Overall we had a lovely stay at the Rixwell Savoy. I would recommend the hotel, although it was quite expensive for what it was."
