"The owner was very helpful in responding to us. We enjoyed the quiet location where we could relax and do laundry when we weren't spending time with our friends nearby. We did bring our own toilet paper to supplement what was left in the house and we paid a bit extra to have bedding and towels provided. All in all, it was a very desirable location. Our children liked the proximity to a beach and the nearby market."

"We were the first guests to stay at this beautiful home. It is out in the country, and has wonderful views of the countryside and old Rende. Our host, Rossana, met us at the house and showed us everything we needed to know. She speaks fluent Italian (which we do not) and English (which we do). That was really nice, as she was able to make restaurant reservations for us in old Rende our first night there! The house is really spectacular and modern with a beautiful kitchen. "Calabria is a province of hilltop villages and just outside San Vincenzo La Costa is this peaceful mountain refuge. The driveway is daunting at first but passable in any car and easy once you have done it. Host Claudia stocked the place with jam, bread and coffee and did everything to make me feel at home. There is great hiking from the house and even better a short drive away, and it easy to access all the wonders of Calabria in an hours drive in any direction. I cannot wait to come back."

"We met with the owners sister who spoke good english and was very nice, so our check in went smoothly. The apartment was beautiful, and the owner went well above standards by furnishing breakfast and coffee. The entire setting up on a hill overlooking the valley and surrounding hills was very beautiful. We highly recommend this property!"

"The beautiful view and space was luxurious! The host was always available and helpful. The fresh fruits and vegetables shared with us by the land manager were delicious!!! And pool was clean and well kept. The mattresses and pillows are very old and uncomfortable and very much need to be updated. Some of the full size beds were actually two cots put together. This was disappointing. Not enough blankets and towels were provided."

"Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vor allem die Dame war sehr sehr nett. Wir sind mit ein Kleinkind angereist 5 Jahre alt. Bitte aber vorher die Vermieterin informieren falls man mit Kind ankommt. Da die Wohnung eigentlich nur ein Bett hat für 2 erwachsene. Sehr schöne und saubere gepflegte Wohnung. Vielen Dank wir kommen gerne wieder."

Mi sento di consigliare una maggiore attenzione ai dettagli quali la pulizia della casa, viste le temperature e la mancanza di aria condizionata, sarebbero utili nelle camere da letto i ventilatori da soffitto, infine dare due mazzi di chiavi e non solo uno renderebbe il soggiorno più semplice"
