"Absolutely stunning location, right in the middle of the vineyards. Beautiful old building, lovingly restored. Star of the show though was the food. Definitely worth eating here rather than driving into Acque Terme, the food is fantastic and definitely recommended. Only two downsides. Our check-in was not that welcoming. The family run the agriturismo and live on site, of course, and we sensed a bit of tension between the lady and her son over his homework. Maybe. Whatever, we didn't feel that welcome and we felt that we had caught her at a bad time. The other downside was that the shower leaked into our room (our room was called Lys, if the owners read this). Easily fixable with a better waterproof strip on the inside of the shower door to keep the water out."

"The hotel and grounds are great. I would go back if it became an adults only hotel. We were disturbed by screaming children around the pool and running in the hallways of the hotel. When you pay this price you expect more. The restaurant was also understaffed."
