"We chose and confirmed a room that specified a view of the harbor. This was not a request; this was the description of the room. When we checked in we were told that a harbor view room was not available.Our room had a view of only the backs of some old buildings. In addition. there was a large support column in the middle of the room combined with a sloping ceiling that blocked access to the right side of the bed."

"So the rooms DO NOT HAVE A LIVING ROOM - Only a kitchen and two bedrooms. The place is nice and right on the beach with plenty of space and no dog restrictions. We enjoyed our time just limited space when it rained"

"I specifically booked this hotel as on the website the restaurant showed that the restaurant was open on a Sunday evening and served lovely fish. I even messaged asking to reserve a table. However, after a long drive, on arrival we were told it was not open which was very disappointing and annoying. There was very little choice in the area without driving so our last night in France was a big let down. I am very aware that on Sunday nights in France this can be the case so, after researching...

"Les indications communiquées par Hélène notre hôtesse nous ont permis d’arriver facilement au gîte qui se situe dans un hameau très sympa et surtout au calme. "The Ibis hotel was located outside Cherbourg and the hotel was very secure. Check in was speedy and the rooms were spacious and very clean. It was quiet and warm and we enjoyed it very much. Def will return. "
