"We were initially uncertain about booking here due to some negative online comments; however, very happy we did! it would be difficult to pristinely maintain the property as it is historic and quite large, so if you’re looking for something with every modern amenity, this is not the stay for you. However, the property is a gorgeous setting and the buildings are quaint and charming. Our room was very spacious - a bit of noise transfer through the bathroom. Pool area is beautiful! Great breakfast with tons of selection. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location to easily access Cortona. "

My only complaint was an added charge for any a la carte items in the breakfast which is included in the hotel charge. For the type and cost of the hotel, this should be included."

"This property is just outside the town gates, making it easy to walk to town for dining options. Their restaurant is a good choice too. Within easy driving distance are great photo op places, as well as a couple of towns worth visiting. From the back of the property you can also take a couple of iconic Tuscany photos."

"What a beautiful property to enjoy for our long awaited trip back to Tuscany. We found this property when another booking we had needed to cancel due to sudden closure, and are we glad we did! Very welcoming, everyone there was gracious and helpful and we wanted for nothing. Little hidden sitting spaces, a fire pit, a wonderful restaurant and incredible views everywhere. A special thanks to Simi for checking us in and showing us around the property. She was absolutely delightful, and her energy and enthusiasm for her employers was contagious.
