"The staff were really friendly and helpful from checking in to leaving . The room was amazing and super clean with super comfy bed . Food was great also and restaurant bar area really nice . We would definitely come back again ."

"Stayed here for a wedding in nearby Morpeth and was well impressed. The owner and her family were superb hosts, and nothing wax too much trouble. Breakfast superb, rooms clean and comfy, and 72 free parking round the back of the property make it a great base for a long weekend to explore the area. Would happily return!"

"Enjoyed a pleasant short stay here as a family. Service in the pub/restaurant/breakfast was prompt and friendly and food was good quality and value. Our room was unexpectedly warm for the time of year, despite radiators being turned-down but there was already a good fan in the room to counter this. We had no issues with noise despite being above the pub. "

"Great small hotel with that family run feeling. Modern clean rooms, friendly staff, great parking and good breakfast!"

"Dated room, wobbly furniture, poor wifi, no bath towels, hot tap on sink jammed so no hot water. Lovely pub and food was amazing staff lovely."

"A nice clean warm room well maintained local rum and cake in the room. Excellent food served in a very friendly atmosphere even due to COVID the place was busy. Our 3rd stay here but will not be the last. "

"The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff were polite, helpful and friendly nothing was too much for them. The location was good and the food was excellent and reasonably priced along with fast friendly service. I would recommend staying there, it’s central to most places on the Northumberland coast line"
