"Owner is very friendly but speaks no English. We were able to communicate with Google translate. Room was great and I had a perfect view of Mt. Etna. Breakfast was not the best. Owner's son asked us what we wanted for breakfast the next day but did not give us what we asked for. Wifi did not work in all the rooms. Hotel is in a great location"

"The property is in a residential area. Big gate and on the post , a small signage of the hotel’s name. We spoke to someone on the intercom at the gate, the gate then opens. The property has a rustic charm. Some reviews we’ve read mentioned that the property needs renovation or updates. We think they don’t, it’s part of the charm (for us anyway, who are just visiting Italy). We only stayed for one night so didn’t get to use their swimming pool but it looks okay and romantic in the evening....

"A small hotel on Mt Etna. Two brothers manage the family property and they are both great. The chef (Mateo) serves up delicious dinners. You should know that it is an hour or so from any village. It is about 25 minutes from the main area at the top of Etna and close to amazing country (Etna’s slopes are like nothing I have ever seen). So a wonderful little hotel. Highly recommend it. "

"I was there October 20 to the 23. It’s worth the nightly rate. The town of Naxos is just down the street. Interesting for a one day visit. I experienced far better beaches. The staff are very friendly and of assistance. The pictures of the vistas from the hotel are not accurate. You can’t see much from the hotel. On balance if you are visiting Naxos, it’s worth the rate."

"Too Soft bed. No second pillow. Bare room with window facing corridor. No parking. Plastic chairs. Had to pay for shuttle. It was like a dive bare necessities hotel. Worst hotel of our six nights in Sicily. Friendly good staff person. Shuttle was on time. "
