"Relatively clean aside from dirt on floors and the white stain on the couch. Biggest issues were: * consistent strong sewage smell in main bathroom, bordering on nauseating. * Cheap soaps * pillows were horrible. Like a rock. * bed was angled in middle -- like sleeping in a burrito * no instructions on entering -- building door key did not work well, had to play with it for 10 min to figure out how to make it work. Also took a while to figure out the entryway lights for the building, etc....

"Description never mentioned that apartment had 5 flights (albeit short steps) of stairs without an elevator. It said there were 4 bedrooms and 3 baths; actually, 2 bedrooms on main floor with ONE bathroom, 1 bedroom up another flight of stairs with its own bathroom; it was the only bedroom that had 2 beds (one queen and one twin) so the 2 male friends had to take that one. The so called third bathroom was on the top floor across the kitchen and laundry room, designed to be a maid's bathroom,...

"This is the best apartment I stayed in during my trip to Sicily. Fabio's apartment was in the perfect area for my stay. The view was amazing, the terrace was incredible, the king size bed was really comfortable. As soon as you step out onto the street you are immersed in the vibrancy of the main street of the old town. Fabio was a really nice host, he helped me with lots of tips and information.
