The booking was duplicated in error (I clicked on booking twice as I thought it hadn’t been received) and I was charged twice. I arrived late and there was no one on reception so I explained the error in the morning but the owner refused to refund me for the extra room which he knows I didn’t use. He said that the room could have been sold to someone else even though I booked on the night before! I will not use this hotel again "
