"This was a great (and convenient!) base for exploring Skye and the northwestern Highlands - and would be perfect for a large group. The hostess was always immediately responsive and thoughtfully provided a great "goodie bag" of food and drink, the house and grounds were tidy and comfortable with all the mod cons (we thanked heaven for the clothes washer and dryer!). I had anticipated having to "rough it" in a relatively-remote area, but this was perfectly lovely. Highly recommended. "

"We loved our stay in Little Garve. The home was beautiful, with enough room for my husband and I and our 5 kiddos. We loved having a washer/dryer on the property and there is also a clothesline if you like the smell of fresh air. The supermarket was a close 20 minute drive and we ate all of our meals at home with a well stocked kitchen. "The location is wonderful, but that’s all the property has going for it. I have never stayed in such a dirty house. I had to clean the downstairs windows, so we could see the view. Mould in both bathrooms. Hairs on bathroom walls and dirt. The kitchen is filthy. Front garden fill with weeds. The whole house was dirty. Not a clean picture or mirror in the whole house. "A great place to stay, just far enough away from Sky to be away from the busy tourist stuff but close enough to spend the day on the island. If you like hiking there are amazing trails right next to the cabin along a river that has some waterfalls. There are a couple of villages that are close by with great food options, if you don't feel like cooking in the well equipped kitchen.
