Views over the Inner Minch to Rona, Raasay & Skye
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (3)
"Excellent accommodation and siting: Access track description is misleading: only accessible by 4x4: the 60m long slope is at 1:3 to 1:4 covered in loose stone. Previous failed attempts by vehicles had left ruts that made even walking up it difficult. The described steep footpath after anyone reached the parking area at the top was a doddle"

Woodland Lodge in Scottish Highlands with wifi - for 6 guests in 3 bedrooms
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (14)
"Impressed with everything! Location was very secluded but very easy to find and near enough to shops for any basic foodstuffs etc. Great walking with the dogs - we hadn't appreciated the history of Golden Retrievers starts in the area (our girls are rescue 'Goldies'). Were lucky with the weather too! Will be back!"

"Fabulous location for our short stay with my partner and the dogs, visiting my brother on Skye. Great accomodation, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Small site, super quiet, great walks for the dogs - we saw a deer on the site this morning... Would thoroughly recommend the lodges, they're lovely."

"Lovely lodge 3. Good view from window.. Nice wee gazebo, perfect for sitting out when raining. The lodge was very well equipped. Bed very comfortable. The lodges could be better signposted when entering Aultbea. The veranda could benefit from outdoor lights."

Secluded, cosy cottage on the banks of a Highland river
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (5)
"The property is gorgeous - homely and cute and nestled in a fantastic tree-bound setting with a small river close by that has a rope swing my children used daily to catapult themselves into the water. Jack is warm and welcoming. And the place is a short drive to the stunningly breathtaking walks around Glen Affric and Plodda Falls, which are straight out of fairy tales. One hint, though: stock up on food - the local shops are there but limited, and anyway you don't want to spend your time...
