The view of the sea in April was spectacular The beach is rather stony not sandy but the placemet our needs perfectly. We stayed there one night only to break up a tarp from Thessaloniki to Athens. "The place is beautiful but that’s about it. We didn’t know you needed swim caps to get in pool. Not very friendly about that or anything else. Like a ghost town and average age is 80. Which is fine unless you have children like we do."

"We were looking for an intermediate stop between Meteora and Athens, and chose Aidipsos because it was on the water. Evia Bay is a small hotel with very nice rooms and friendly proprietors who shared local knowledge on restaurants and pointed us to the hot springs right on the beach in town, where in mythology Hercules went to recover after battles. Overall great stay, beautiful sunset and a place we would stay longer for relaxation if we had the time."
