"This was the perfect reward for reaching Tsumago after hiking from Magome on the Nakasendo. Nestled deep among tall trees, this property felt like a hidden sanctuary with its open air onsen, welcoming staff, and superb dining.

"Great onsen, good breakfast, room was clean and comfortable. Staff professional and friendly."

"It is like home. The staffs are amazing, they accommodate anything you need."

"The wonderful staff!"

"Interesting stay. Had fun lighting the fire and cooking our food over it."

"Amazing stay. The staff was so friendly. Our room was enormous and comfortable."
