Good location, inadequate customer service

Good location in Cantonements on the doorstep to Osu. Clean. Communal kitchen with all you need. I booked an aircon room for three nights: I arrived on a Friday, and immediately informed the management about my not working aircon. They said they’d call a technician. Saturday; still not working. Sunday; still not working. I needed to extend my stay for another three nights as I was waiting for a visa, and continued to complain about the aircon. Management told me that the technician didn’t work Sunday’s that’s why it wasn’t fixed yet…when I asked about Friday and Saturday, she just got grumpy. On Monday the technician “fixed it»: all that was needed was a new gas bottle! The last night I was moved to another room. Guess what, aircon didn’t work there either…the technician came again but this time it was beyond “repair”. I asked for compensation as I’d paid for aircon 6 nights in total but only had it working 2 nights. The manager refunded me 100 Ghanaian Cedi - it’s a joke.
