La Casa Azul Huasca & Restaurante La Terraza

"This was a unique stay, off the beaten path, and not your typical México resort. This place appears to get more tourists from in country than the US. A very pleasant place right in the center of town. Rooms aren’t that sound proof. Town has loud celebrations on the weekend nights that can be heard if you’re trying to sleep. The hotel manager spoke English and was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating."

"The cabins are great. There was a glitch in the system that promised a hot tub in the cabana. It was not the case with true owners. If you are looking for some perks like hot tub or fireplace - better check with the place. We were offered free breakfast for the lack of hot tub but could not use it. The place is very clean and very nice "

"My 3 teenagers and I loved it here! Super cute, clean, spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the showers were fabulous. The staff was so nice and helpful and the restaurant has great food. This place is a 10 min drive from downtown but it was worth the drive to come back to a quiet, serene place. Highly recommend and we will be coming back!"

"Todo el hotel está muy limpio y nuevo. En la habitación se encierra un poco el calor y no hay ni ventilador ni aire acondicionado. En general por el precio me parece excelente."

"First thing I have to mention is that the staff is top notch. We forgot a few items and they sent someone to meet us 30 minutes away, something that most places wouldn’t do. The property itself is well located. The only suggestions would be to upgrade the sheets and beds, they are old and uncomfortable. Also I would recommend that they implement some sort of rule for the groups arriving from the nightclub tour in the middle of the night to not be so loud."
