"An absolute jewel - centrally located, with absolutely everything you could want: privacy, comfort, cleanliness, plus a ton of extras such as lovely outdoor sitting areas, a shared full large kitchen, a stocked complimentary mini fridge in the room, terrycloth robes and slippers and more. "Although we only spent one night here we wish we could have stayed longer. A beautiful property, very tastefully designed in an unbeatable location. Easy walk into the centre of Ragusa Ibla and free parking a 5 minute walk down the hill. Andrea, the manager, was delightful. She was so apologetic for making us wait to walk us from the parking to the hotel even though we had screwed up and not replied to her last message! She made great restaurant recommendations. "Whole place is dated. Wall switches broken, one was shorting. Pool was closed for the hottest hours of the day when you really want it open and it really wasn’t clean. Breakfast minimal but ok. Bed not really comfortable. Power to room is turned off until check in time so it takes hours to even chill water in the fridge. Manager was very helpful and nice. "

"I rarely leave reviews, only when really bad or really good, in this case it’s the later, an absolutely beautiful hotel with stunning location and views. Ivan took wonderful care of us and seems to have thought of everything to make stays enjoyable. Scicli itself is a great base, full of very good restaurants and bars, close enough to both the towns of Regusa, Modica etc but also beautiful beaches at Donalucatta and Punta Secco"

"Lovely old hotel with a lot of character. We were only there for one night but had a good night’s sleep. We were late to check in but there was good communication with the representative who very kindly waited for us (for a fee for late check in after 8pm). They were also very kind and allowed us to leave our suitcases at their office for the day whilst we e loved Scicli which was and chanting little town."

"Bra rum och rent två våningar upp branta och smala hiss saknades svårt få kontakt med personalen som sedan inte hittade vår bokning, en man som enbart kommunicerade på italienska kom och kollade våra pass och förvann sedan ingen info för övrigt, den fria parkeringen som finns i annonsen existerar inte utan vi fick ägna 45 minuter att leta efter en betalplats utefter gatan, "frukost" serveras 5 minuter bort på en kombinerad spel och tobakshandel och består av en kopp kaffe och vanilj bulle....

"Carmela couldn't have been a better host - she went above and beyond to provide information and additional amenities to cater for our group (eg. providing advice and a microwave for one of our babies with allergies). The units were spotless and the pool was regularly cleaned (Carmela's husband did this so they were there semi-regularly). There was a technical fault with some of the air-con units but Carmela did everything to rectify it. They also left us local vegetables which were delicious!...

Quiet headland location, Scoglitti village 10 mins drive with basic amenities nice grocers and bakers etc. No tourists in October. Informal and simple lifestyle for a chill out. Accoms for 11 in a 3 bed and 4 doubles. Nice outside sun area overlooking the Med. if you want an unsophisticated chill out place for a large group away from it all then this would suit.
