"Stunning rooms with beautiful views. The staff were all super helpful and lovely throughout and able to provide great recommendations when asked. The sauna facilities were excellent (beautifully designed and functional - truly 5 star) and the heated pool just fantastic. Not to mention the food either which was sensational from breakfast to lunch and dinner with non-staying guests regularly stopping by for food and drinks. The island itself was so peaceful and beautiful to set the hotel in it...

"The hotel is odd and wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. Bathroom was huge! My notpicky complaints are the windows didn't open and the AC cut off when we turned off the lights at night. And the bathroom lights only worked when the overhead light was on? Maybe if we stayed longer I would have figured it out. Super convenient to the World of Volvo (during construction, it is shorter to walk along the front street and not through back lot)."

"This hotel although not directly in the centre of the city is a very pleasant 10-15min walk to the centre or a tram can be caught outside the hotel. We arrived early and were checked in by a lovely staff member at reception. This was very welcome after an early flight from the UK. We were also upgraded to a larger room on higher floor with a wonderful view of the river, bonus! The room was clean and well appointed, lovely walk-in shower and tea and coffee making facilities. There was no in room safe and this may be a problem for some, although, there are safety deposit boxes available should you require one. There is limited hanging space in a small wardrobe but no drawers at all to store clothes etc. We didn’t find this a problem as we were just there for a short stay. Our buffet breakfast was included and it was exceptional. Every dietary requirement catered for, it was a truly lavish spread, the choice was incredible. Minor issues were, no in-room safe, and our cups glasses and tea and coffee were never replaced or replenished. We did mention this to reception and managed to replace our tea and coffee requirements there. All the staff we encountered throughout our stay were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to return."

"Rooms were a good size but basic in terms of fittings. We found lifts easy to get. Very good location. Public transport to city centre was very convient. Plus local supmarket. Very good breakfast, nice afternoon treat lovely dinner arrangement. Staff always Very helpful. But they need to clean, windows ledge. Next visit would stay here again."

"Absolutely lovely home to stay in, well equipped kitchen, very clean throughout, comfy beds. Really lovely experience. Clear instructions for everything and the host was very responsive to any queries. The area was also lovely and quiet but close to good shops and entertainment and just a short tram ride to the city centre."
