5/5 Excellent

4/5 Good
"This is the hotel to stay in Abu Simbel. It is nice resort and rooms are spacious. But, I booked a standard triple room that initially had 1 king bed. When I complained, I was put into a room that only had 2 twins instead of 3.
Had an issue with dried blood on my duvet cover when I pulled covers back - the hotel responded promptly and replaced the cover revealing a urine stained duvet insert which was not replaced.
Dinner buffet is expensive and food is alright. Included breakfast buffet is better.
Staff for the most part is good. But, as sun was setting and people gathered around the edge of the pool and lakeside to watch the sunset and take pictures. A clueless staff member with a bug/insectside fogger comes walking down the path and fogging up the area chasing people away just as the sun is setting.
As others have said, it is expensive because it is the only decent facility here. Front desk staff are good and arranged for reasonably priced transfers and guide."
