  • Welcome to your Montana getaway! This beautiful riverfront home in Absarokee offers a peaceful retreat with stunning surroundings and excellent native trout fly fishing right outside the back door.
    The main house features 3 cozy bedrooms, including a spacious master bedroom with a king bed and two additional bedrooms with queen beds, along with 2 full bathrooms. The large living room and spacious kitchen and dining area are perfect for gathering with family and friends. Enjoy the game room, WiFi, washer/dryer, and all the comforts of home.
    Step outside onto the large deck, fire up the stainless-steel gas grill, and enjoy dinner at the outdoor table overlooking the creek. Gather around the firepit in the evening—we provide the firewood!
    For additional sleeping space, there is a separate bunkhouse located away from the main house, featuring 4 twin beds. The bunkhouse does not have amenities and is intended as additional sleeping space for guests.
    Historic downtown Absarokee is within walking distance, with restaurants, bars, a grocery store, and local shops. Red Lodge is about 30 minutes away, with access to the spectacular Beartooth Highway and breathtaking mountain scenery. Continue on to Cooke City, Silver Gate, and Yellowstone National Park for an unforgettable Montana adventure.
    *RV/camper hookups are available for $25/night. Select “Parking Fee” when booking.

The only hiccup we had was getting in, but once we got ahold of the landlord via text rather than the vrbo app, it was smooth sailing! The house was very clean, there were some pans that were dirty, but that was it. The kitchen has most of the things you need, but if you’re a family and you’re looking to stay here and cook a lot, there are a few item missing (as of 4/5/26): Toaster (we used the broil setting on the oven) Oven pans (cookie sheets, casserole pans) The appliances were new and worked great, it was nice to have filtered water and ice cubes! The beds were comfy, that was a relief! Bathrooms were clean, though the master shower was better than the one by the other room, the girls ended up using ours for better pressure. The game room was great to have, it was well utilized! The creek was beautiful! Such an amazing perk to the already great house! A trip to truly remember!
