Only the communication with the owner and the housekeeper was difficult. It was not clear for us how to check out and in. And we received a strange SMS message from the housekeeper that we had to pay 100 euro extra, which was not true..."

"We stayed for 1.5 weeks in this very pleasant cottage. It has a small kitchen on the ground floor, lounge and dining table on the first floor and a nice bedroom in the attic. The cottage is newly refurbished with new wooden floorboards and beams complementing the original 18th-century ones which gives it a nice atmosphere. The cottage is only a few minutes' walk from the vineyards and the dozens of well-marked trails that criss-cross the Alsace region, including the GR5 route. Barr serves well...

"My husband and I spent 3 months at Gite le nid de cigognes. The expectations of our stay in Alsace were exceeded due to our hosts Nicole and Jean-Luc Dreyer and their family, their Alsatian origins, their lovely property and its location in Alsace. The large property is in the middle of an old village on the wine route, hosting historic buildings and gardens; truly unique. The entry is dated 1574. When the property doors are open, visitors stop for pictures. The gite is clean and the galley...

"Magnifique séjour dans ce tout nouveau gîte, très spacieux et bien équipé. Les propriétaires (très sympas) prévoient encore des aménagements au niveau des extérieurs. Nous reviendrons pour les découvrir. Si vous aimez la marche et la nature, ce gîte est ideal."

"Il y a de beaux villages à visiter, la maison n'est pas faite pour 10.pour les chambres pas de problème mais pas assez de table dans le jardin, il n'y a qu'un petit fauteuil de 2 personne pas de lave vaisselle et un frigo avec un petit congélateur nous étions 12 c'était un peu juste"

"We had some very nice days at the les myrtilles. The host Daniel and his neighbours are very friendly and helpful. The house was very clean and comfortable and has everything you need. The village is very beautiful with lots of vineyards around. We enjoyed our stay very much and would be happy to come back to the house any time!"

"We picked this house for a family reunion and to celebrate our mother's 80th birthday. We couldn't have chosen anything better. The house itself is lovely with 5 good bedrooms, a spacious dining room and plenty of outside seating on the terrace. The best feature though is the garden, secure for kids and the family dog and absolutely massive. As per description the kitchen is small, but in combination with the conservatory it worked fine. Hopefully we can return at some point in the future."
