"Enjoyed my stay "

"The staff, Eric, was incredibly rude to both myself and any guest I saw him interact with. They were without hot water when I arrived in the afternoon and there was still no hot water the next morning. I requested that they cancel the rest of my days and refund me for those days as I did not want to continue staying somewhere with no hot water. Eric told me he couldn't do that and acted like us guests were fools for expecting hot water at a hotel we paid to stay at. Luckily my partner convinced Eric he could do something about it. They let me down but hotels.com never lets me down and they helped take care of everything for me. Also, I looked at reviews after the fact and there were plenty of reviews from a month ago also talking about this hotel not having hot water."

"Clean, comfortable, and quiet room with good beds. Expedia had no warning that the hotel was going to charge me $20 more for parking. The room had no microwave, probably because there are restaurants in the hotel. Even Motel 6 has microwaves in their rooms. It was a good night's sleep though."

"This is a gem of a place. I have stayed at the abner many times and am delighted to say it is always a treat. The hotel is warm charming sparkling clean and perfectly located with shopping and dining just outside your doors. The rooms are comfortably appointed with all the extras of a posh stay . The breakfast is a must and don’t skip the frittata. Dinner is a cozy culinary experience with an ample menu to cover many tastes but dine exquisitely. If open do not miss out on the rooftop lounge and bar perfectly cultivated for cocktails and conversation. "

"Power outage caused stay to be cancelled at last minute "

"We had a wonderful stay at this cozy 2-bedroom cottage! We booked it while in town for my graduation, and it was the perfect amount of space for my small family. The cottage was very clean and well-maintained, which made us feel comfortable right away.The location is absolutely beautiful—tucked away in the woods on a private lake property, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We really enjoyed being able to fish and take advantage of the playground during our stay, which was a great bonus for family time.Another highlight was how well-equipped the cottage was. It had everything we needed and more, especially helpful in case you forget any essentials.The only suggestion I would make is adding a fire pit with a few chairs. That would truly elevate the experience and make evenings even more enjoyable—we would absolutely be willing to pay extra for that feature!Overall, a fantastic stay and a perfect spot for a quiet getaway. We would definitely return!Lastly, the host went above and beyond to make sure we settled in okay. Made us aware that they were available if needed. But also allowed us to enjoy our time with no interruptions. Very respectful!"
