"So set your mind on a charming characterful much loved home rather than a hotel type setting and you will be happy . The owners are lovely and Suzie is charming and very helpful . It’s a little quirky as it’s a home so toilet and shower in hallway shared and the room didn’t have a key to lock when away and also significantly it’s not a breakfast as in bed and breakfast . However it’s right in town and lots of places to eat and the town is charming . Little slice of old English charm !"

"Nothing We could not contact the host and had our stay ruined We had to spend nearly £200 on taxis, buses and trains as well as booking alternative (dearer) accommodation in Swindon (a different city) Utterly shocking and absolutely spoiled our trip - had to traipse around Oxford with 2 massive cases all evening before travelling directly over 2 hr to our hotel"

"Restaurant at the hotel was reasonably priced with plenty of options. The morning breakfast was enjoyable. "

"The hotel is nice, and the rooms are comfy and clean. The property has a nice character. The downsides are the rooms are very noisy and walls are paper thin. The wifi threw you off every 10 to 15 mins for our entire stay. Even when not busy it took nearly 10 mins to be served at the bar. The hotel did apologise for some of the issues and give a voucher, but regreattbly it didn't solve the wifi issue or the fact it was even noisier the next night. "

"Lovely hotel. Warm welcome on arrival. Very clean hotel. Room was big, bed was super comfy and bathroom was lovely. Unfortunately we had water issues in our bathroom where the tap and shower had barely any water and couldn’t even flush the toilet. Staff were responsive but unfortunately we were in a rush for a wedding so did not have time to move rooms."

"We rented Home Farm for a work retreat and it was brilliant. We had people stay in the different accommodations and then come to the main house for sessions. We had a private chef make lunch and dinners for us, which worked really well. The whole place is clean, cosy and a really lovely space to be in! Plus there are lots of good walks around the estate! "
