"We stayed for one night passing through. The house was clean, stocked and very comfortable! If we pass through Abilene another time, we’d stay here again!"

"If you like to be surrounded by wood, this is your place. We felt like we were in a mountain cabin, yet we were in the middle of the city. Everything worked great especially the air conditioner!! Decor was really interesting and was fun to investigate. We like to cook and it had everything we needed for a nice meal. Location was perfect near the college and the downtown area. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Abilene."

"We were in town to visit our daughter in college and extended family. The property was just what we needed. We had one minor issue that the owner addressed right away. My only recommendation would be to have a broom and dust pan available. Our youngest isn’t the neatest eater and a broom would have been helpful to clean up after her. 😀"

"The property is located so close to downtown and all the fun things. We had events at The Ice House and Convention Center and easily walked to them. The walk at night is a bit sketchy. We love everything about this little cottage except the bathroom. It sleeps 10, so if it had been more than my husband and I - that would be hard. The shower is terrible - it’s a cute tub but showering in it is like having 5-6 white sheets clinging to you at all times. I fought my way through it! Lol! We will stay...

"The communication with the host was speedy. Everytime I reached out he messaged me back quickly. I was concerned about the check in process(this is our first vrbo that we booked ourselves.) I’m very familiar with Abilene and although the house was on a busy street it was quiet except for the dog next door. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and we had a wonderful time. The host was very responsive and recommended some fantastic restaurants in the area. "It needed hand soap at the sinks. We found some in a closet but not enough. Only had one roll of toilet paper. Contacted the host and she brought us more. Had trouble locking most of the doors. The apartment was very nice and decorated to be very inviting. "

"We were so pleasantly surprised how serene Mimi’s House was. A beautiful backyard for conversation and bird listening. There was a great kitchen to work in as we were there for the birth of a granddaughter. The location was convenient to the hospital and restaurants. We will be back and stay at Mimi’s House again."

"Liked the location near the zoo and park. Nice neighborhood, no more than 5 miles to all stores and several restaurants. Plenty of towels and beds were very comfortable. We did need to pick up body soap and shampoo. The grass could have been cut prior to our stay but than again there had been rain. Over all it was a nice place to stay and we would stay there again."
