The Marshall House, Historic Inns of Savannah

8/10 Good
"This place gets an A+ for clean, quiet rooms, friendly, helpful staff and a perfect location! Even though it is right on the main street of the Historic District with shops, restaurants and bars all around it, it is well insulated from the nightlife noise. Considering the building is several hundred years old, it is in excellent shape and has been modernized and well maintained. They do serve a hot breakfast every day but if you are looking for gourmet, this is not your place. It was very hot when we were there and the common areas were well cooled but the room was not so cool. The wine and cheese happy hour with local entertainment was really nice but again, not gourmet."

17Hundred90 Inn and Restaurant

8/10 Good
"This was a lovely little hotel. Obviously it is older so the rooms itself are going to have some minor imperfections which I expected. I say will my room did have a hole in the window which caused it to feel a little warm and humid in there but nothing too crazy. There is a very small parking lot of hotel guests but thankful I came on a week day otherwise I would have had to pay for street parking. I would definitely stay here again though. The overall vibe is super nice, it was quiet, and I loved the buildings itself. The staff is extremely kind and super helpful. The furniture in the room was beautiful. I love that they’re keeping things preserved from way back when."

"The staff was friendly. We ordered room service the food arrived fast it was hot and delicious. The one thing I didn't like was having to pay 45.00 a night for self parking. I think that's ridiculous to have to pay that much to park your own car and have no type of security to try to insure the vehicles and secure"
