"Stayed for one night with my family in front view room. Hotel has a roof top swimming pool and is in a very great location close to the beach, restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was included and very delicious coffee and food selections. Staff were very friendly I highly recommend this place."

"The hotel was perfect. The staff was perfect. The location is like 100 steps from the beach. The public portion of the beach is very small, maybe 18 meters wide and 40 meters from water to buildings. I assume if you pay, you can enjoy the privatized position of the beach, which is like 90% of it. My point being, if you want to swim and lounge, do more specific research than I did. The bus runs often that takes you up and down the coast. Even though it wasn’t the busiest time in Portofino, the bus was PACKED. Taxis are available for a few euros more (~10-20) also. None of the challenges are the fault of the Hotel Argentina though, they are amazing and the property is wonderful!"

"The hotel is in a great location. However, it needs some updating. The biggest thing is the elevator needs to be updated!!!! My sister and I got stuck inside which was a traumatic situation. It stopped and the doors opened half way then the doors got stuck and it would not move once the doors closed. The staff acted like this happens all the time. It was extremely hot and no air and a frightening experience. Other guests were complaining about the elevator to deaf ears. It might be a good idea to update the breakfast with a bit more options. The rest of the stay was good."

"Our check in was very disappointing. The room was very small so I request an upgrade which I was happy to pay for- the receptionist explained they had a room but it was being cleaned, for us to go enjoy lunch and come back to sort it out. On our return they had sold the room to someone else. Hotel location is nice, rooms tiny and old/ worn. Beach set up in also very small with sun loungers crammed together. the beach is lovely. Stay in a proper hotel and come use the beach!"

"The property is a majestic old mansion house high above Paraggi. The rental is one floor of the property with residents above and below. We did not experience any noise from the other residents but it is importantly to note the property is shared as there is the occasional dog that pops in and the pool can be used by the residents. The pool is tiny but great to cool off. The access is steep and a rental car is needed for shopping and transport as the bus is often too full, although very cheap and convenient from the bottom of the drive. The access is difficult by foot and not for people with mobility issues. We met the residents and had a great chat, very friendly and gave us great local recommendations. The kitchen is very small for a large group, if you intend to cook and eat in it is a little tight to say the least. The property is a little tired, and looks like a rental, but is full of charm, a in a very special location. The nearby beach is full of expensive bars and exclusive lounges, so it's best to go to the beach to swim and go. The area has lovely walks and Portofino is just a 20 minutes walk away. Our group of 3 families had a wonderful stay."

"Een prachtige locatie met een geweldig uitzicht waar je geen genoeg van krijgt. Het huis is wat oud, maar als je de ramen lekker open zet is het geen probleem. De locatie is de moeite waard. Overdag ligt het strandje vol, maar in de avond heb je de baai voor jezelf. Je hebt zicht op de mooiste jachten en de wandelpaden zijn prachtig en goed onderhouden. Heel leuk om even naar Portofino te lopen. We hadden zelf een sup mee en hebben hier veel plezier van gehad. De baai is afgesloten voor bootjes. Je kan een sup of een kano ook huren. De communicatie met de eigenaar is heel prettig en vlot. Deze locatie is zeker een aanrader!"
