"Just a short walk from the city gate we found this was a handy location to visit Lugo. The room was clean and the WiFi was fast , the bathroom was well equipped but the shower over the bath lacked any power. There was a kettle in the room but no coffee or tea making supplies which we found odd. The staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived by train which was an 18 minute walk up a steep hill and no buses appeared to travel close to the hotel area so be prepared. I’d highly recommend Lugo for at least 2 days to see the Roman sites. We didn’t try breakfast as cheaper alternatives are available in the town a few minutes walk away. Overall a great secure place to stay if visiting Lugo."

"A delicious breakfast was included, then there were plenty of places nearby to eat later in the day. The hotel has a fridge for guests to use, so we also bought food from local shops."
