The restaurant was fantastic, breakfast was another story, you couldn’t serve yourself (buffet style) the cereal etc side you could but not the fruits cheese or ham side. The only eggs served are scrambled. The hostess the first day was not very friendly but day 2 and 3 this younger much friendlier hostess took great care of us!! "

"English speaking staff is very helpful with ideas and calling taxis. Pool very refreshing after a long day touring the falls. Dinning room was an unexpected surprise. Dinner was very good, service was responsive, and there was even live music that night that was very enjoyable. You are in the jungle and should be prepared for bugs (front desk does sell bug repellent, if you didn't bring your own)."

"We enjoyed our time at Sol Cataratas and wish we had stayed longer. The jungle setting provided atmosphere and we found the restaurant on site provided good meals and enjoyed our interaction with the serving staff (despite our lack of Spanish). The hotel was a base for us and we were picked up and dropped off on the tours we did though a walk into town isn't excessive and neither were taxi's if required.
