"Our room was not available as the hotel was fully booked so they gave us an upgrade to a special room however this room was very inconvenient because it had many stairs and no separation between sleeping room and rest of the room such as bathtub etc. The staff was very helpful in trying to find us a better room and the following day they managed to find a suitable room"

"The location could not be better. A short walk from the train station and everything basically. The superior room that we had was a good size with a modern bathroom, great big comfy bed and canal view. with windows open it's a bit noisy with people sitting and talking across the canal in bars. but after midnight with windows shut its totally fine. The spa is nothing special. I would definitely stay here if I ever end up in amsterdam again. The location alone sells it. "

"Very clean, comfortable and prestigate. Hallway, elevator are historistic and feel like you just transported in 1960s and feel very creep, not recommended for the scary person. Feel almost hunted hotel when you walk the hallway alone. I never get scare and can easily handle scary movie but i felt uncomfortable walking the hallways."

"Everyone was very hospitable and friendly. They went out of their way to make everything right. The bed was very comfortable. My only concern was that there were no drawers and the bathroom didn’t have my space for toiletries. We ate in the grill restaurant one so. Er and breakfast, very good. We ate at Vanoost and it was an upscale dining experience."
