The receptionist had the worst most acrid body odour I’ve ever smelt. We were shown a smelly, small dark room (which we declined) We were going to stay at first having booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children. (As confirmed on the booking documentation) when arriving they said it would be another £50 per child and there had been a system mistake… I don’t...

"This is a house and not a hotel which was fine for us. But if you want breakfast, you have to go to the store and buy supplies. No food service at all. Hard to get a hold of the owner to get the keys. The phone number we had was incorrect. This was a new listing with Hotel.com and bugs not worked out. The extra money had to be paid in cash and was supposed to be paid upfront for the cleaning and linens and towels. No chance to use a credit card. Not ideal for travelers from outside...
