"A really peaceful stay in a very well equipped resort. We stayed in a superior suite which was absolutely excellent and the food on offer was always to a high standard. We had a car so it was easy to visit the neighbouring towns and villages but without a car it would have been impossible. Therefore, if you want to see more than just the hotel you do need a rental. Overall very pleased."

"The Grand Hotel des Estrangers is a beautiful hotel perfectly located in the Ortigia section of Syracuse. The building is beautiful and the renovations are very stylish. The breakfast was excellent and the rooftop bar and restaurant are quite nice. The staff is high professional and friendly. We had massages at their Spa which were top notch. The gym is adequate.
