"Beautiful resort on a pristine private beach with warm clear ocean water, highly recommended! The room was clean , the bed very comfortable with an ocean view. The food at the 3 restaurants was all delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. The only downside is the road from Santa Ana to the hotel is very rough for at least 15-20 minutes. Hopefully that will be upgraded soon. A quiet tropical oasis and a highlight of our trip to Cartagena!"

"The hotel is very well located. To my taste I found it very noisy, on sunday morning at 6:00am a very outloud noice (music) was being played. The first night on friday night noise from outside was heard from the room. The hotel has beautiful patios and a swimming pool, nice spa, very good food. The rooms need a face lift, I find the hotel over rated and over price. The staff was incredible though."

Front desk staff was extremely slow on providing me my invoice, 2 hours of calling requesting it and I still have not received. I expected more from Four Seasons regarding pool bar staff. "I appreciated that this wasn’t a typical hotel full of people. It is housed on one floor…maybe two. There is 24/7 security at the front door. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom had a nice size shower. And the balcony gave the best views of the Clock Tower. You heard music all night and all day - that just speaks to the culture in Cartagena. "Very disappointing stay at Casa de Alba, especially for the price (over $1,000). We stayed from Friday to Monday, and our room had plumbing issues the entire time. The toilet was leaking from day one, and although we reported it immediately, it was not properly fixed. At one point, water from the bathroom leaked into the suite, and we were left without access to our room and bathroom for several hours while repairs were attempted.
