"Had an incredible 5 night stay at the Grand Du Lac. The rooms were very nice and comfortable (particularly the big bed) and the amenities were all clean and well maintained. A special Thankyou to all the staff who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable - organising car transfers, tours to Ha Long Bay and all the yummy food recommendations. Overall the best feature was the location. Grand Du Lac is situated on a quieter side street, which had limited traffic and road noise, perfect for those sleep ins. Yet it was only a 1 minute walk to the church and start of the busyness/shopping areas. Would highly recommend! 10/10"

"Above all, I would say that the hotel staff is fabulous. They are kind, attentive, friendly, and could not have been more welcoming. The only issue that we had was concerning the park next to our hotel room that was blasting music day and night. After traveling over 20 hours, it would’ve been nice to have been able to get a good night sleep. I will also note that there were a lot of Scaffolding and miscellaneous extra hotel stuff that was stacked outside of our window of the bathroom. I thought that was unprofessional and would have preferred not to have had to look at it. "

"The property is lovely & located in the heart of Old Town. Staff are extremely attentive & friendly. Great room (911) Variety of options at breakfast Lovely pool area. Beautiful hotel. Didn’t take too kindly to the noise from the large Indian group checking in while we checked out. Hotel reception apologised, although it wasn’t the hotels fault."
