"I never wanted to leave this property. It was the height of excellence and beauty. We’ve travelled extensively and this property is in the top 3 of the hundreds of hotels we have visited in 40 years. Breakfast in the garden was such a beautiful experience. Hotel is walkable to many restaurants and historic monuments. The main stop for the Hop on, Hop off bus is just across the street allowing for easy tours of the city attractions. Would recommend GA Palace to everyone. "

"Great location and great breakfast but staff were not very friendly. When checking in, reception staff were surly and didn’t even say anything about welcome to the hotel etc… Breakfast staff were also not very communicative. We had just spent a few days in Lisbon where staff were so friendly and helpful in contrast to Pestana Vintage were staff were not very friendly or helpful. Staff just need to be trained to ensure they are friendly when talking to clients. We ordered drinks from the...

"Boeira Gardens is a beautiful hotel. Would definitely recommend it. For service I deducted a star because the service was very slow in hotel bar, only one person servicing and there were conference guests in numbers. The service at the front desk was excellent. All the staff were super friendly and efficient. There isn't much in the surrounding area but it's only a 10 minute walk to the Metro which will bring you over to the tourist areas."

"We had a fine room with good amenities. The staff was very attentive. The in-hotel restaurant was exceptional. They also have a spa in the lower level with an array of services. The location is kind of near nothing and therefore near everything, if that makes sense. "

"The check in was a bit confusing. There were no staff at the pool or service at all at the pool. It was a trek to the bar and tiu had to carry your drinks on a tray down stairs and in the lift !! Mojito was not right, not enough sugar or lime. Pillows in the bedroom were too big and we couldn't get the tv to work. There seemed to be an absence of staff. Not great coffee at breakfast, it tasted like nescafe. "
