"The property was great, unfortunately they stuck us right above the pool which was being repainted. the fumes from the resin were making us sick. They put a sign in the lobby the day the pool was being worked on to apologize for the awful toxic smell. No advanced warning whatsoever. Thankfully Franck the front desk attendant was able to move us to a better room farther away from the pool. He was the bright spot at this place and the only reason I give it 4 stars. "The view from the Yaktsa is lovely - red rocky coast, lush greenery, luxurious villas, and the Mediterranean, of course. The restaurant/breakfast area takes full advantage of it. The pool is long enough to allow for lap swimming, and the daybeds are so comfortable and luxurious. The room felt cluttered and dark; phones, temperature control, and bathroom faucets need updating. "Gorgeous property with views into the hills and valleys. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious and well appointed. Comfortable bed and choice of pillows. We dined at the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the impressive service. Breakfast buffet was also a treat. We would gladly stay here again; recommend without hesitation. "
