"This hotel is in a wonderful location, has beautiful gardens, nice staff, is a historic hotel, has a great Mai Tai Bar & has a beautiful beach. That said, “ historic” one might , at times, feel is synonymous with run down. This IS NOT an updated property. When it rains, the lobby floods. The paint on the walls looks like it is hiding decades of decay. To say the carpets are worn, is kind. Coffee is sold in the lobby starting at 6 AM & it stops at noon.
