"I had an incredible experience as a solo traveller. The property is stunning, with breathtaking views over the sea. The staff were incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly, always happy to provide recommendations and offer to book anything I needed to make my trip as seamless as possible.
The location was perfect — close enough to walk to everything within 10–15 minutes, but just far enough removed from Corso Italia to avoid the crowds and enjoy a truly relaxing atmosphere.
The grounds and...
"So glad we chose this as our hotel stay. Stunning hotel, heaven on earth views for their citrus gardens and private pool. The daily buffet breakfast that was included was great as well. They provided a custom beach bag with towels, the bag you could take home, and since it was our anniversary trip, we arrived to a beautiful bottle of champagne and pastries on our arrival. Truly a memory making trip and would highly recommend!!!"
"My wife and I recently celebrated a milestone birthday in Amalfi and stayed at the Anantara Convento Di Amalfi Grand Hotel. We had many hotel options, but we are so pleased that we chose the Anantara and the city of Amalfi for our stay. The location was a perfect launching point to visit the many areas of interest. It was close enough to all the restaurants, shops and sea in Amalfi, but also far enough away to enjoy a more private experience. The walk from the hotel down into the center of...
"Staying this hotel in Amalfi Coast was like living in a paradise. Anytime I go back to Amalfi coast, this will be the only place I’ll be staying. Definitely the property was on the expensive site, but it was worth it."
"Gorgeous older property that is all about the view. Giuseppe, Franco and Kate made our stay exceptional!
The gym is cardio only and quite small. The pool is not heated. The property is aging but dignified.
The breakfast was incredible and they even made us gluten-free croissants fresh each morning!
It was hard to leave. Totally dreamy."
"It is genuinely difficult to put into words how incredible our experience was. My fiancé and I both agree this was, without question, the most exceptional hotel experience we have ever had.
The attention to detail was unlike anything we’ve experienced. From arranging a boat ride and offering personal recommendations to anticipating our needs before we even had to ask, every detail was handled effortlessly.
The complimentary breakfast was wonderful, the beef carpaccio was one of the best things...
"This family owned hotel for almost 200 years is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The location high above the docks, the incredible historic yet modernized facilities, the staff, the food, everything is thoughtful and beyond any expectations. If in Sorrento this is the only hotel to consider"
