"I have to say I was somewhat disappointed in the hotel. The location was fairly good. The buffet breakfast was not great but hard to say what I was expecting from Salvador but overall, I give it a five or six out of 10. The seals and all the windows were blown out. The windows were gray and foggy, and the room smelled damp and wet. We had to move one of our guests or fellow travelers room because it was moldy inside."

"The property is beautiful, but the staff will leave you wanting more. This is a beautiful resort in a beautiful location. We found however compared to all inclusive resorts in other countries, the staff just had no desire to please the guests. There was no urgency or willingness to help. They just show up and do their jobs. Which for some people may be fine, but we are used to extreme levels of hospitality at all inclusive resorts. It all started from check in. We checked in after midnight...
