"It is extremely inconvenient with lots of stairs elevators to get from one area to another. The beach is extremly private but too rocky and slippery to walk on. Getting to town by private taxi was nice. The breakfast included was not very fresh. I found this property to be a bit of a disappointment. Fortunately Melania was extremely helpful at the front desk. The restaurant was extremely empty and not very inviting. Best to find a B and B and stay walking distance to town , water taxis , boats ,...

"We stayed for 3 nights in May while visiting Italy. I can't say enough positive things about the Ara Maris. We were in a room overlooking the rear pool/garden with a private hot tub.
