"This was a stay that I will remember for a lifetime. Once you go through the front door you have found paradise in the Medina. One of the extremely important consideration is location. This was in the quiet section of the Medina but one key huge difference is the taxi can meet you right at the Riad vs. other ones that you will need to haul luggage or locals fighting over to bring your luggage. Breakfast was very nice and changed from day to day. I stayed 5 nights and was very walkable to key locations. Argan oil soap and shampoo & conditioner was a nice touch as well as the staff packing you lunch when you checkout. "

"This is such a beautiful hotel in such a great location. The staff is incredible! They are so helpful so nice so accommodating. This hotel is in a great location which is a 5-minute walk from the most popular tour meeting location. It's also an 8 minute walk from the big square. We loved walking through the Medina looking at all the stores. There's plenty of restaurants within 5 to 7 minutes walking distance. It's very safe and very quiet."

"A Solid 4-Star Experience (But Manage Your 5-Star Expectations) Stay: February 2026 | Resort: Pickalbatros Hotel du Golf Let me start by clarifying the rating: this resort is advertised as a 5-star property. If you are expecting the luxury level of a Four Seasons, Fairmont, or Le Méridien, you will be disappointed. I would realistically rank it as a high 3-star or a solid 4-star. That being said, if you adjust your expectations, it is still a very decent resort and we had a pleasant stay overall. Here is the breakdown of my experience: The Property & Rooms • Clean and Modern: The public areas and rooms are fairly modern, well-maintained, and very clean. My bedroom was well-appointed and comfortable. • Room Amenities: While daily tea and bottled water were always provided, I would have really appreciated an ironing board and a coffee maker in the room. The bedrooms have fairly thick doors so the rooms are really quiet at night. • No Construction: I noticed some previous reviews mentioned ongoing construction, but I am happy to report that I didn’t see or hear any construction noise during my stay. Food & Drinks • Great Buffet: The various buffets are a highlight, providing a fairly large selection. They feature outdoor grilling and tagines, a pasta station, and many other options. • Mediterranean Restaurant Quirk: We made a reservation at the Mediterranean restaurant (a short shuttle drive from the main hotel). "Amazing riad with excellent service, friendly staff, and spotless rooms. We stayed in the Double Deluxe room, which was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The riad itself is stunning, from the reception and courtyards to the rooms and fountains everywhere. Truly a beautiful, relaxing stay. The indoor heated pool was a wonderful way to unwind at night, and breakfast was fresh, buffet-style, and very enjoyable.
