"We wanted to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and would normally have gone somewhere hot for this milestone but with Covid we are still not prepared to fly anywhere, so were looking for something different to just a ‘hotel room’, I saw this advertised on Expedia, and it looked to be just what we were looking for, a bit of luxury in a tranquil setting, just the down time we needed after a busy year. Penbontbren ticked all the boxes, the suites are lovely, an old barn conversion, our suite...

"On arrival we were greeted by the owners who made us very welcome. The accommodation was comfortable and clean, breakfast outstanding. They could not do enough for us especially with my wife’s disability. We are looking forward to returning in the future."

"We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. "

"I would love to give this a 5 star review but and I am very sorry that I can't, because for us the stay did not turn out to be what we had hoped. The flat is in a perfect location in the middle of Tenby - bars, pubs, cafes and restaurants all at your doorstep. The beach only a short walk away so it could not be in a better position. The views from the apartment are breathtaking and the apartment itself is beautifully furnished. So why only give it 2 stars? For us, our long weekend was totally...

"Credit where credit is due, this has to be one of the nicest places we’ve stayed at. Superbly finished property in a really safe area. Extremely friendly owners who couldn’t do Enough to make our stay as good as it could possibly be. Bottle of prosecco and Welsh cakes on arrival just added to what a was an amazing accommodation. The hot tub was a superb place way to finish each evening in style, we will be back! Superb. "
